May 4, 2010

Hello
I was planning for a extremely productive day! I had tied myself to my chair with a scarf and was getting a ton of work done. All of the sudden Christelle came up the driveway extremely short of breath...She asked us if we would keep Gabin. She had a reaction to some medication and hadn't been feeling great. She was feeling faint and was worried about what Gabin would do if she did pass out. We kept Gabin for about an hour so that Christelle could get some rest. It set me back a little but I was happy to watch Gabin for a bit. When Christelle came to pick up Gabin she was still a little short of breath and pale but she felt much better. Phew... Unfortunately I was unable to post this blog until today (the 6th due to annoying internet!)

P.S. Looks like they'll be completing our new roof installation - then the solar panels will be installed today or tomorrow. Yaba daba doo!!!

  2. Hi Keenan!
Just back from playing tennis (it was sunny then) and a bike ride with Boppa to the library (It was clouding up) and now it looks like we may get some precipitation! Tonight is may even snow (so says the weatherman!) It hardly seems like May 6th! With this cool weather, the plants that I bought for the garden will have to stay in the garage a bit longer, otherwise they might freeze! Don't know if my tennis match this afternoon will get rained out or not...
This is typical spring weather in Colorado!
Good that you were able to be of assistance to your neighbor when she needed you! Keenan to the rescue!!!!!!!
Hope that you completed your assignments so that you can enjoy your virtual weekend!
    Love,
    Gramma

  5. Gramma and Boppa,
Send us pictures of the new roof and solar panels! It has been pouring rain almost all day long here! You barely get enough time to go outside before it starts raining again! I wish rainy season was over! It has even been hailing lately! I didn't quite finish all my assignments so I will be using today as a work day! Yipee...No we didn't get to celebrate Cinco de Mayo...We haven't been eating tacos very much lately because the tortillas are so expensive and there are no hard taco shells.
